Business Developer

Qascom is looking for a Business Developer for the Space and Defence market, based in our office in Cassola (VI).

As a Business Developer, you will be a key figure in the company’s growth, overseeing both services and products. You will work closely with the CEO and high-profile government and industrial clients in the Space and Defense sector, and you’ll be at the heart of strategic decisions. Supported by a team of specialized technicians, you will actively contribute to business development and marketing activities, turning innovation into real-world impact and shaping the future of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Identification and preparation of tenders in the fields of Cybersecurity, Space, and Defense, including satellite navigation and security services;
• Preparation of proposals and offers, including analysis of technical solutions, objectives, and tender requirements;
• Contribution to project planning, including the definition of work packages, deliverables, risks, and scheduling;
• Conduct of market analysis and technical assessment of products and customer requirements;
• Promote and sell high-security, high-tech products, including GNSS receivers, simulators, and interference monitoring systems;
• Collaborate with Technical Managers, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure the feasibility and competitiveness of proposals;
• Support public relations activities and maintain contact with clients, partners, universities, and local institutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Telecommunication, Aerospace, Software, or Computer Science.
• 2 or more years of experience in the preparation of tenders and proposals.
• Background experience in engineering services, ideally within the telecommunication, software, or space sectors.
• Understanding of financial principles and experience in financial analysis.
• Experience in developing and managing business plans.
• Project management experience, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Proactive attitude with a hands-on approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
