Qascom is proud to announce a major milestone in European lunar navigation technology.
Building on the success of the LuGRE receiver, which recently demonstrated that GNSS can enable autonomous navigation on the Moon, we have now successfully developed our first L-CNS receiver prototype compliant with LunaNet V5 specifications.
This achievement was made possible through the ESA NAVISP-EL1-062 โLunar Surface PNT Beacon Demonstratorโ project and represents a significant step forward in lunar Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) capabilities. It also lays a strong foundation for future advancements within the #Moonlight program, further reinforcing Qascomโs leadership in space-based PNT solutions.

We extend our sincere thanks to ESA for the coordination of the project and to Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI) for the financial contribution.
