We are pleased to have hosted the Kickoff Meeting for the SATCO project yesterday at the Qascom headquarters.
SATCO (SATellite COgnitivo Riconfigurabile, or Cognitive Reconfigurable Satellite) involves several members of the Aerospace Innovation and Research (AIR) network, leaders in the space sector in Veneto, including Officina Stellare S.p.A, Stellar Project, T4i – Technology for Propulsion and Innovation, Zoppas Industries Heating Element Technologies, Dwave, GESSHIN – Ca’ Foscari University of Venice | Student Association, and Università degli Studi di Padova.
SATCO will develop the flatsat of an innovative satellite, leveraging cognitive features to support autonomous on-board operations such as payload switching and/or reconfiguration. This will be the first step toward a possible regional and international cognitive satellite system.
We are eager to collaborate with these top players to drive national and regional interests in space.
