Qascom is proud to announce that the European Defence Agency’s (EDA) RIPTIDE project has reached a significant milestone with the successful completion of its third test event in mid-May 2025.
Qascom coordinated a two-week field-testing campaign designed to evaluate the performance of the RIPTIDE framework in response to NAVWAR (Navigation Warfare) threats. The event brought together a strong consortium of industrial partners and defense stakeholders, including Qascom, Thales Alenia Space, Telespazio, Leonardo, MBDA, Instituto Nacional de Técnica Aeroespacial “Esteban Terradas”, GMV, and the Esercito Italiano – Italian Army.
The campaign focused on assessing the resilience of both commercial and military GNSS systems, reinforcing the project’s objective to enhance European defense capabilities against navigation system vulnerabilities.
